TCNF Supports The Street Trust Alice Awards

Alice awards

TCNF was the presenting sponsor of The Street Trust’s Annual Alice Awards held September 24th. The Trust (originally the Bicycle Transportation Alliance—BTA) celebrated its 30th anniversary at the Lloyd Center, next door to the Trust’s new office space within the Center. Charlene McGee, Program Manager for Multnomah County Health Department, Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH), received the Alice Award and the Portland Streetcar Ambassador Program in partnership with OPAL Environmental Justice received the Trust’s new Elizabeth Award.

TCNF has been active with the Trust since the 1990’s, presenting cycling education clinics, supporting legislative work, advocating for vulnerable road users, and regularly sponsoring the annual Alice event. The 1990’s themed gala was followed by an afterparty with Secret Roller Disco.
