Teaming up with npGreenway

TCNF partner Cynthia Newton has joined the Board of npGreenway, which advocates for the completion of the North Portland Greenway Trail. npGreenway works collaboratively with community stakeholders to realize its goal of creating a trail system providing access to and along the Willamette River from the Steel Bridge to Cathedral Park near the St. Johns Bridge and extending through Baltimore Woods to Kelley Point Park, linking North Portland neighborhoods with the Willamette River for both recreation and a commuting route to and from jobs. More widely, the North Portland Greenway trails will connect with the existing Willamette River trail system serving residents and visitors throughout the region and become part of the 40-Mile Loop. Cynthia will serve on the Board’s Advocacy and Outreach Committee.
