On September 18, 2020, TCNF co-sponsored Oregon Walks’ Walkstar Awards which were held virtually. Oregon Walks is dedicated to promoting walking and making the conditions for walking safe, convenient and attractive throughout the Portland metropolitan region. It is committed to the principles that walking must be safe, should get you there, is transportation which builds better communities, requires careful, inclusive design, that streets shared by pedestrians and others are the best streets and that EVERYONE, who leaves home is a pedestrian, whether in a wheelchair, stroller, on foot, or even getting to a motor vehicle or mass transit.
