Recently, our firm had the incredible opportunity to partner with and volunteer at Blanchet House, an organization that has been dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in Portland for 70 years. The organization offers a variety of services, including daily meal programs that provide nutritious food in a welcoming atmosphere. Beyond meals, Blanchet House also focuses on holistic support, offering transitional housing and assistance programs aimed at helping individuals regain stability and self-sufficiency.
Over the span of three days, our firm rolled up our sleeves and joined their mission by serving over 400 meals each day to those in need.
The staff and volunteers at Blanchet House are truly inspiring; their dedication to providing meals and support to individuals in the community is evident in every interaction. It was clear that this organization is more than just a meal service; it’s a place where dignity, compassion, and community come together.
Serving over 1000 meals was no small feat, but the experience was incredibly rewarding. Each meal was more than just food; it was a connection, a moment of kindness, and a step towards rebuilding lives.
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Blanchet House and look forward to future collaborations. If you’re looking to get involved, consider volunteering or donating to Blanchet House. Every contribution helps support their vital work in our community.
