STCN partner Cynthia Newton was an invited speaker at the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association’s Annual Convention held August 14-17. Serving on a panel of lawyers from around the state, Newton’s presentation entitled “How to Use Your Experts to Conduct a Site Study to Learn the Truth and Prove Your Case,” focused on effective pre-trial preparation and courtroom presentation of expert witness testimony used to achieve the firm’s favorable result in the bicycle death case Rickson v. Golden State Foods, tried in February of this year.
