Earlier this month, new uniform civil jury instructions were posted to the BarBooks™ online library. Under new State Bar rules, BarBooks™ are available without charge online to all dues-paying State Bar members.
The postings include revised UCJI No. 5.01 (Precautionary Instructions) and three new instructions, UCJI No. 10.09 (Evidence Received for Limited Purpose), UCJI No. 10.10 (Testimony By Agreement) and UCJI No. 10.11 (Stipulations of Fact). These instructions were promulgated by the Oregon State Bar Uniform Jury Instruction Committee, charged with drafting and reviewing instructions for use in civil jury trials statewide.
