Last Wednesday, September 28, trial attorney Cynthia Newton presented her program Getting Around: Know Your Rights at Hacienda Community Development Corporation (HCDC), a Latino-focused organization based out of the Cully neighborhood in Northeast Portland. The event featured a discussion on bicycle and pedestrian safety, along with complimentary food and childcare.
Greg Raisman at Portland’s Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)’s Active and Transportation and Safety and HCDC’s Jaclyn Sarna helped coordinate the program attended by Cully residents, including leaders of Andando en Bicicletas en Cully (ABC).
